Living in the Cotswolds we are quite prone to blackspot on roses and I hate having to use chemicals. A friend suggested that aswell as clearing up fallen infected leaves, that I plant Lavender under my roses.
I was very sceptical, but I have to admit whilst I still suffer with black spot it is not as bad as it has been in the past and is at a level that I can live with.
