Yucca Elephantipes
Normally on a woody trunk between 3 and 5feet high and a spray of large leathery leaves it makes a lovely focal point in the home. Preffering normal room temperature with plenty of light and water, make sure you reduce watering through winter. You do not need to mist the plant but wiping the leaves occcasionally or some leave shine will help it to keep looking healthy. Some who are lucky enough, and after many years of care and attention may get flowers, beautiful white bell shaped blooms, but dont get your hopes up as I had one for years with no such luck!

Vallotta - Scarborough Lily
This plant likes normal room temperature in a bright spot with occasional direct sun, wait for the soil to virtually dry out and then water well to keep it happy. The perfect spot for this plant would be a window ledge, whilst the leaves are ever green the flowers appear in late summer on tall stems reaching around 2 foot. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that when the bulbs become crowded is to re-pot it to keep it going.
