Do you use peat free compost?

Work Begins at Landkey

The first week children went outside with the intention of weeding and digging a number of small flower beds. Twenty minutes, two bent trowels and a flower bed the size of a 2p coin later we conceded defeat and returned to the classroom to decide how we could tackle the project. It appeared that the project may just be too big for primary school children.

Back in class it was decided that we needed help. The children wrote letters to local companies and tried to find out if there were any parents that had the skills and equipment to help us get the land ready.
