Saving Water and My Legs

Last year I bought a large water butt for my garden. My garden is unfortunately higher than the house and I grew very tired of walking up and down with a watering can during the summer. To save my legs I purchased a small pond pump which I dropped into my water butt and attached a length of hose pipe to the pump and I can now turn the pump on and get water pumped up to another water butt in my garden which I now use for my watering can. This also means my house water butt can be kept low to save more water from the house.
