I am a very keen gardener, receiving the Daily Mail Plantsman of the Year Award in 2006.  My former garden was open to the public both privately and with the NGS. Over the years I have won many different gardening competitions through Cheltenham in Bloom and other national competitions.

My favourite flowers are Day Lilies which to me are the top of all garden flowers. though each flower only lasts a day once established the continually flower for several weeks.  My other favourites are roses especially David Austin’s, for their scent and stunning colours.

I created this site to enable gardeners of many levels to join together and share their experiences helping each other to enjoy and get the most out of gardening.  It’s intention is not to dictate to people the rules of gardening but to show how easy and enjoyable gardening can be.
